Clear Channel wanted to make a huge impression with their first quarter sweeps giveaway for WASH-FM, Washington, DC’s #1 “At Work” station.

IE worked with its client Sonic Automotive Mid-Atlantic to provide Clear Channel with a $50,000 Audi Cabriolet to give away on-air. Sonic was handsomely rewarded with a mix of over 1000 promotional and dedicated spots plus other promotional exposure.

The station had a hugely successful promotion that dominated the Washington DC radio-waves during its six-week run. No other station had a promotion anywhere close in value or exclusivity.
